font-size issue when using SPLIT plugin

Hungary

HiAll!
I am creating a theme for my site by melting together some legacy and new themes and at one point I changed something and somehow I can not track it back /I am in the middle, it is a big mess now 😊)/..the thing is that when I use SPLIT plugin on a wikipage, the font size is smaller than the sections of the page that are not in a split.. might be easy, but there are font sizes more than 60 places now and I dont find the right one..please someone help!! 😊
tnx&cheers,
Gezza

A related question ... is there a way to control font size?

United States

The SPLIT plugin creates columns by using tables. As a result, the text within a SPLIT is controlled by the table.td style — not the regular body style. You'll need to update the CSS to make your table, and td styles be the same size as your regular body text.

Thanks for the answer!! I'll try it out...
another question - maybe I should open another topic ont this..:
is there anything that is compulsory to have in a css regarding security? I mean can I leave out things from a css without risking security holes?
/I decided to delete everything from the long css and to leave just those I see having an effect on the output..(some divs and td.-s are real mystery to me)/

The CSS is for the presentation layer only. AFAIK, there are no security implications with using/omitting CSS styles.

For my TIKIs, I remove all the styles for features that I do not use. IMHO, the CSS files suffer from severe bloatage.
