modify toolbar popups in strasa tiki4

I've upgraded to tiki4 and am using the Strasa theme since I was told it was among the most stable.

The one problem I've found is that the popup windows from the toolbar are formatted in such a way as to make the text invisible (white text on white background). for example, i click External Link, and I can read the various field names (show this text, link to this url, etc) but I can not see any of the text entered into the fields.

any pointers on how to fix this in the theme would be greatly appreciated!

coming at this problem from another angle, i'm also interested in any stable themes that have dark backgrounds.

thanks! — kelle

Thanks for reporting this. I'm sorry but I'm trying to find the behavior you are describing. Do you mean the toolbar of the wysiwyg editor? If so, I have checked a few sites and the text/background contrast appears normally. Can you give more details such as what browser you are using?

The Darkroom theme included in the Tiki package has a dark background; also there are a few themes available from this site that have dark backgrounds. All should work correctly for the release they are indicated for.

i mean the popup windows that appear when you click on some items in the wysiwyg editor..for example, the External Link helper.

I'm using Firefox on OS 10.6. The behavior (white on white) is also present in Safari.

Darkroom gave me trouble in Tiki4. The tabs were not behaving correctly.

Tab behavior shouldn't be theme-specific. The theme stylesheets only have rules for visual appearance, not functionality. This, and the fact that we can't replicate your problem (I also asked another person who can check with MacOS and its browsers) suggests to me that there might be an installation or configuration problem at your site.

Could you update your site to Tiki 4.2 - a good idea anyway to get security and bug fixes - and see if the problem persists?
